Ensure that new projects are handed off from Construction to Operations in a condition that enables safe, high-performing, and fully controllable plant operations from Day 1
Represent O&M at Project Kickoff; align on transition process and integration requirements
Participate in design reviews and provide O&M feedback on constructability and operability
Join ongoing project calls and integrate appropriate O&M resources
Ensure O&M teams are prepared for substation energization — SCADA/alarms, NERC compliance, switching plans, and site training
Drive O&M readiness activities: EPC/OEM training, environmental/permitting reviews, and site walkdowns
Monitor punchlist closure and site performance; escalate issues requiring Execution support while EPC remains active
Requirements
Background in renewable energy O&M, EPC construction, or project management — solar, BESS, and/or wind
Field experience working on or around utility-scale construction or O&M sites, with the practical instincts to anticipate problems before they become operational liabilities
Solid understanding of electrical systems and power generation equipment
Experience managing multi-stakeholder processes with construction, engineering, and operations teams
