About this role
Role Overview
- Development: You design and develop robust, scalable web applications as well as service-oriented interfaces to integrate complex business logic.
- Operations & Support: You act as the technical contact for third-level support, analyze functional requirements, and identify root causes of incidents.
- Database Architecture: You are responsible for planning, administering, and optimizing our databases.
- Coordination: You coordinate your tasks within the team and implement technical specifications in clear, structured sprint phases.
- Requirements Analysis: In direct collaboration with internal stakeholders, you evaluate new functional and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience: You hold a degree in computer science or equivalent training and have at least five years of experience in backend development within the PHP ecosystem.
- Development know-how: Strong experience with PHP (versions 7.3 to 8.4), PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Slim, etc.), MySQL database administration, SOAP web services and JSON APIs.
- Teamwork: Experience working and communicating within development teams (Git/GitLab, SCRUM).
- Quality assurance: Automated testing is familiar to you and you have worked with various testing techniques (e.g., Codeception).
- Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Laravel) and familiarity with modern package management like Composer.
- Analytical ability: You have a quick grasp and can rapidly get up to speed on new topics.
- Language skills: Business-fluent German completes your profile (minimum C2).
