Acting as a trusted technical authority and subject‑matter expert throughout the sales cycle, confidently addressing technical questions, mitigating concerns, and supporting deal closure.
Supporting proof‑of‑concepts (PoCs) and pilot projects, ensuring technical excellence and successful customer outcomes.
Capturing customer feedback and market insights to actively contribute to product evolution and innovation initiatives.
Monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor developments within grid and substation automation.
Building long‑term relationships with key customer stakeholders, from technical experts to decision‑makers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in technical presales, solutions architecture, or field application engineering within the energy, power systems, or industrial automation domain.
Solid understanding of power systems, grid infrastructure, SCADA, and related energy technologies.
Proven ability to translate customer business needs into robust technical solutions, both verbally and in writing.
Experience with proposal development, solution design, and technical documentation.
Exposure to renewable energy, substation automation systems, and offshore wind applications is a strong advantage.
Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 20%).
