Design and develop backend services and APIs within the ARD ecosystem
Design and implement scalable microservices in the most appropriate programming language using modern frameworks
Collaborate with the team to design and decide on sensible system architectures
Work with containerized applications based on Docker and Kubernetes and assist in their operation and ongoing development
Develop and maintain interfaces (e.g., REST, GraphQL)
Actively contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
Identify and implement improvements for performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems

Several years of professional experience (5+ years) as a software or backend developer
Core competence in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Go, C#, TypeScript, Python)
Solid experience with modern backend frameworks in production environments (e.g., Spring Boot, Quarkus, .NET, Gin/Echo, FastAPI)
Proficient with container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with at least one cloud hyperscaler, preferably GCP
Proficient in at least one common API paradigm such as REST (RESTful) or GraphQL
Willingness to work across different project teams as required
German language proficiency at minimum C1 level
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification — or equivalent professional experience
