Research Services Manager – Monitoring Services

Role Overview

• Management of the Department’s current awareness and monitoring services in Europe
• Create bespoke monitoring products leveraging multiple tools, technologies and information sources
• Training Research Services colleagues
• Developing and implementing standards and best practices for the delivery of current awareness and monitoring
• Managing aggregation platforms such as Vable and LN Newsdesk
• Liaising with Technology & Information Services to develop internal solutions
• Liaising with other business services to streamline processes

Requirements

• Legal and non-legal research knowledge and skills, preferably
• Relevant monitoring experience
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Ability to lead effective training sessions for departmental colleagues and other business services staff
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use independent judgment when making suggestions and decisions
