Setting up German payroll rules, tax parameters, and social security contributions within the payroll system.
Running test payroll cycles, troubleshooting discrepancies, and documenting fixes or configuration changes.
Meeting with clients to clarify requirements, provide updates, or guide them through statutory processes and deadlines.
Collaborating with internal teams, such as Product, Commercial and Operations teams, to resolve technical or legislative queries.
Conducting training sessions or walkthroughs to help clients understand payroll outputs and system functionality.
Monitoring project timelines, preparing status reports, and ensuring key milestones are completed on schedule.
Staying updated on changes to German payroll legislation and evaluating their impact on active implementations.
Requirements
Have considerable experience in processing German payroll and implementations, with good knowledge of payroll related legislation, taxation rules and superannuation requirements
Have great numerical skills with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy
Have a genuine and fervent commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service, ready to go above and beyond to make sure the customer needs are at the heart of every action
Display an unusually high attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors or notice when things “just don’t look right”
and motivated to follow these through to resolution
Exceptional competency with databases, systems and software packages, especially Microsoft Excel.
Have the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting deadlines and tasks with a focus on service delivery
