Managing and executing customer installation activities within agreed upon project timeframes.
Verifying the complete functionality and readiness of systems for software deployment.
Conducting routine system tasks like software updates, system upgrades, data backup/restoration, and troubleshooting.
Gaining a deep understanding of public safety customer environments to ensure optimal product security and reliability.
Demonstrating proficient software and IP networking skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Delivering solutions that align with existing products, standard interfaces, and pre-defined procedures.
Adhering to all corporate guidelines and completing required training, including CJIS compliance.
Accurately logging billable hours for project work.
Travel (50%-75%) will be required, depending on project and business needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology or 5+ years of experience deploying and integrating complex IP products and systems.
Proven experience installing, administering, and troubleshooting: Server Virtualization/Containerization: Specifically VMware ESXi v.7+ and/or Red Hat OpenShift.
Database Servers: Particularly Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and later.
Server Operating Systems: Including Windows Server 2019 and later.
Workstation Operating Systems: Such as Windows 10 & 11, and Linux.
Network LAN Switches: Experience with HP Arista is a plus.
Storage Area Network (SAN): Experience with HPE Alletra and Nimble is a plus.
Basic Firewall and Router knowledge: Fortinet Fortigate experience is a plus.
Server and Workstation hardware: Experience with HPE compute hardware is a plus.
Windows Active Directory (AD) administration including Group Policy Object (GPO) and Domain Name System (DNS).
Experience using TeamCity is a plus.
Prior experience with the deployment, integration, operations, or administration of Public Safety Applications.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
