Execute mechanical maintenance activities for utilities equipment to support production targets and enhance overall plant reliability.
Contribute to energy optimisation initiatives across utilities systems, including improvements to compressed air quality and elimination of air leaks.
Monitor equipment operating hours and ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
Ensure the availability of required spare parts through close coordination with maintenance planners and suppliers.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of utilities equipment, including compressors, pumps, blowers, chillers, piping systems, valves, and regulators.
Support preventive maintenance programmes and participate in major shutdown activities in line with quality, reliability, and cost objectives.
Provide mechanical engineering support to production teams, enabling optimal equipment performance and reduced technical downtime.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance maintenance effectiveness.
Ensure accurate and timely maintenance data entry into SCADA and SAP-PM systems.
Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental and compliance requirements, actively supporting Amcor’s commitment to Zero Lost Time Injuries and operational excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years’ maintenance experience, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry; experience with WCM, TPM, or IWS methodologies is an advantage
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with Access and Excel macro programming is preferred
Hands-on experience with utilities systems, including compressed air, water management systems, hot oil and water boilers, rooftops, AHUs, and chilled water systems
Proficient in AutoCAD and similar drafting or design software
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Turkish and English
Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, OHSE, ISO quality systems, and manufacturing cost management
Demonstrated capability in strategic thinking and problem-solving
Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Dynamic team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Proven ability to prioritise tasks and consistently deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Valid driving licence with no restrictions for domestic or international travel
