Acts as the lead attorney at hearings, conferences, interviews, mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials
Develops and utilizes strategies and arguments to prepare for trial
Utilizes knowledge of legal precedents to analyze the probable outcome of a case
Identifies the strengths and weaknesses of approaches to a case
Provides job-related guidance, mentoring, and training to other attorneys
Requirements
Experience handling matters that are high complexity and/or exposure
First chair jury trial experience, and/or comparable court experience required
Expansive knowledge of both procedural and substantive law
Superlative skills in all areas including trial, public speaking and/or communication, case preparation, strategy, advocacy, negotiations, depositions, expert witnesses, damages, analysis/evaluation, reporting and client/customer service
