About this role
Role Overview
- Define and evolve the architecture of high-load data platforms and services
- Architect and build robust ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time data processing services using Golang
- Design and own data flows and storage strategies for multiregional environments
- Lead the development of event-driven systems, focusing on low latency and high throughput
- Integrate and optimize AI Agents into the engineering workflow
- Ensure data consistency, reliability, and observability across the entire stack
- Review code and provide technical mentorship to engineers (Golang/TypeScript)
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering
- Expert-level Golang: Deep understanding of concurrency patterns, performance tuning, and idiomatic Go
- Proven track record with Kafka (including Kafka Connect) and event-driven architectures
- Extensive experience building and maintaining complex ETL/ELT pipelines
- Hands-on experience using AI agents/LLMs (Claude, Cursor) to speed up development
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and ClickHouse (OLAP)
- Experience handling multiregional data (latency, residency, and synchronization challenges)
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and leading architectural reviews
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript for data-related tools or internal platforms
- English proficiency — B2+ level
