About this role
Role Overview
- Design and build secure cloud environments and platforms for Allstate
- Automate public cloud services by building CI/CD pipelines
- Partner with cloud platform consumers to align applications to standards
- Improve engineering practices and guide teams in using infrastructure as code concepts
- Manage complex technical designs in cloud platform infrastructure
Requirements
- 4+ years of application development and infrastructure engineering experience
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing complex applications and distributed systems into public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc…)
- Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks in public cloud environments
- Experience using DSLs/frameworks for managing infrastructure as code like CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.
- Experience programming using languages like Python, Ruby, Go
- Familiar with IaC scripting tools such as AWS CLI and boto3
- Hands-on experience using continuous integration/delivery tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.
