Generate, review, modify, and send invoices accurately and on time, including one-time and usage-based billings.
Create and manage subscriptions, sales orders, and estimates in NetSuite; terminate or modify subscriptions as needed.
Apply customer payments, manage refunds/credits, and reconcile billing records with accounts and financial statements.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, Paystand issues, and payment transaction mismatches promptly.
Ensure proper suspension of product access for cancellations and manage tax exemptions.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and billing issues, providing professional and timely support.
Partner with customer service, sales, finance, and operations teams to resolve issues, implement process improvements, and maintain accurate financial reporting.
Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes, enhance efficiency, and implement automation where applicable.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to billing and invoicing.
Requirements
Related field or applicable billing experience.
Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial analysis role.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite SuiteBilling; SaaS billing experience required.
Experience with accounting tools such as FloQast and CRM platforms like Salesforce (SFDC) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in a similar industry or with billing systems/software is preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to billing practices is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration preferred.
