Manage the full lifecycle, accuracy, and integrity of IT asset and configuration data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Provide hands-on technical expertise to support CMDB, Foundation Data, and CSDM initiatives.
Collaborate with architects, developers, platform owners, and service teams to deliver configuration data across the organization.
Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Configuration Items (CIs) and IT assets within the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Monitor, analyze, and report on CMDB health metrics (e.g., completeness, correctness, compliance) and lead remediation efforts where gaps are identified.
Support ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to ensure accurate and automated population of CI and asset data.
Ensure CMDB processes and data support audit, risk, security, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow CMDB, including CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, and normalization.
Experience supporting IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management processes aligned with ITIL standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and process improvement.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and system integrations (APIs, data imports, third-party tools).
Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience working with ServiceNow, CMDB, IT Asset Management, or related ITSM functions.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and other ServiceNow certifications preferred.
ITIL v3 or v4 certification with advanced knowledge of ITIL best practices and the application of concepts a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, hybrid infrastructure, and modern IT operations models.
