Act as the owner of costing for a logistics corridor, ensuring a competitive, dynamic model aligned with market best practices.
Take a leading role in critical cost analysis, proposing improvements and interacting with key areas (Supply, Trading, Pricing, Commercial, Infrastructure and others), ensuring decisions create value for the company.
Update management reports and provide support for analyses comparing priced costing versus accounting costing.
Prepare and publish managerial cost prices for the company, analyzing and explaining the factors that make up the costs, ensuring accuracy in calculation, cost formation and in the execution of the entire systemic data-entry process.
Conduct the full costing of the corridor under your responsibility, ensuring accuracy, a focus on competitiveness and adherence to corporate guidelines.
Serve as a technical reference on costing topics in the fuels market, discussing methodologies and supporting analyses with other areas.
Perform cost variance analyses (refined products and biofuels), arbitrage analysis (Brent, Heating Oil & RBOB) and assessments of operational drivers.
Contribute to the definition and evolution of costing practices, proposing methodological adjustments according to market conditions.
Ensure smooth integration with Supply, Trading, Operations and Commercial, supporting decision-making with an analytical perspective and clear positioning.
Monitor indicators, market trends and competitive impacts, translating them into business insights.
Propose continuous improvements to processes, workflows and tools, focusing on agility, reliability and governance.
Actively participate in cross-functional forums, representing costs with a technical and data-driven perspective.
Conduct ad hoc studies to support negotiations, contract reviews, mix reassessments and simulations.
Requirements
Experience in the fuel distribution market or related sector companies, with a focus on costs
Soft skills: High problem-solving ability; communication capable of engaging at different organizational levels; proactivity, autonomy and maturity to lead critical topics; ability to operate in dynamic environments; collaboration; team spirit; organization.
Technical skills: Advanced Excel, Power BI (intermediate level, for building/editing dashboards), strong analytical ability and proficiency in data modeling. Knowledge of the main cost drivers in the fuels sector (ESALQ, PLATTS, Arbitrage, PPI, Brent, Heating Oil, etc.)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
Languages: Intermediate English is desirable.
