Role Overview
Lead the Micron Global, Regional, and Site Design and Construction project teams in developing engineering and design concepts for U.S. Greenfield FAB projects
Coordinate planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Collaborate with Global and Regional Facilities, Site Facilities, Construction, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Layout and Planning, and other internal and external collaborators
Develop water and wastewater system designs to be incorporated into U.S. Design and Construction Projects
Establish and maintain outstanding engineering and construction practices, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability
Review and provide feedback on Micron Global Design and Construction Standards and Construction Specifications
Provide support for project cost and schedule estimates
Support the development and maintenance of Micron Global system standards, specifications, and best-known methods
Analyze system designs for performance improvements, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings
Contribute to Global Sustainability Programs, including emissions, energy, water, wastewater, and green infrastructure design
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Environment Engineering
7-10 years of technical expertise and experience in Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Gases, Water, and Wastewater Systems
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15-25% of the time, up to 30% during critical project phases
