Role Overview
- Lead the Micron Global, Regional, and Site Design and Construction project teams in developing engineering and design concepts for U.S. Greenfield FAB projects
- Coordinate planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Collaborate with Global and Regional Facilities, Site Facilities, Construction, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Layout and Planning, and other internal and external collaborators
- Develop water and wastewater system designs to be incorporated into U.S. Design and Construction Projects
- Establish and maintain outstanding engineering and construction practices, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability
- Review and provide feedback on Micron Global Design and Construction Standards and Construction Specifications
- Provide support for project cost and schedule estimates
- Support the development and maintenance of Micron Global system standards, specifications, and best-known methods
- Analyze system designs for performance improvements, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings
- Contribute to Global Sustainability Programs, including emissions, energy, water, wastewater, and green infrastructure design
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Environment Engineering
- 7-10 years of technical expertise and experience in Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Gases, Water, and Wastewater Systems
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15-25% of the time, up to 30% during critical project phases
