Perform quality activities for Advanced Nuclear projects to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and GEH requirements;
Support project execution for procured products;
Work with suppliers to define quality requirements, inspection and verification processes, qualification activities, and test controls;
Provide technical guidance to suppliers to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications;
Resolve supplier quality issues and disposition nonconforming product;
Execute supplier quality surveillance activities for New Reactor programs;
Write and review quality documents, plans, and procedures;
Support corrective action and error prevention efforts;
Requirements
Associate’s degree from an accredited college/university, or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of nuclear industry experience;
4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering support, or nuclear quality assurance;
2+ years of experience in a nuclear quality role;
Strong understanding of nuclear safety culture;
Experience with NDE processes, ASME Code requirements, welding issues, and quality inspections;
Familiarity with electrical/electronic standards, control systems, software-based protection systems, PLC/SCADA, and related testing methods;
Knowledge of ASME NQA-1, CSA N299, CSA N285, and ISO 9001;
Must be willing to travel to supplier and customer sites as required, up to 40%;
Strong oral and written communication skills; proven ability to develop team relationships;
