As a ShopGoodwill Expediter, you play a direct role in turning donated goods into opportunity — helping ensure valuable items make it online quickly so they can generate the revenue that powers our mission.

Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

What you will do:

Quickly evaluate the value of donated merchandise coming in from stores, and fast-track high-potential items into carts ready for our E-Commerce Technicians to list for sale online.
Identify and expedite items provided from stores that need to be posted on ShopGoodwill.
Provide a sufficient number of carts in rotation for E-Commerce Technicians.
Maintain an inventory of gaylords coming in from stores and sort using a first in, first out system.
Meet assigned production goals following ShopGoodwill posting standards.
Maintain the designated ShopGoodwill storage area in a clean and organized manner.
Effectively communicate issues and concerns to your supervisor.
Comply with Goodwill attendance and punctuality standards.
Follow Goodwill safety practices.
Basic Computer skills.
Effectively communicate the mission of Goodwill to customers and donors.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Basic computer skills.

PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell and operate computer.
The employee must often lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
