8+ years in a pre-sales, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Account Management role within ad tech or publisher monetization
Deep practical knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem: header bidding (Prebid.js, including server-side/S2S configurations and wrapper management), Google Ad Manager, and SSP integrations
Familiarity with identity solutions (UID2, RampID, Topics API) and their measurable revenue impact on publisher yield
Understanding of CMP and consent frameworks (TCF 2.x, CCPA) and their downstream effects on auction dynamics and fill rates
Prior direct experience working at or closely with a publisher, SSP, or yield management platform, with working knowledge of traffic shaping, bid density optimization, and auction dynamics concepts central to Assertive Yield's core product
Basic scripting ability in Python or JavaScript is sufficient to validate integrations, interrogate data, or build lightweight proof-of-concept demos
Familiarity with ad-quality and brand-safety tooling (e.g., Protected Media, Confiant)
Experience with competitive landscape analysis across yield optimization platforms
Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical audiences (Ad Ops) and non-technical stakeholders (C-suite)
