Role: Figma Design System Migration Specialist
Location: Remote | Duration: 3-Month Contract

We are seeking a highly experienced Figma Design Systems Specialist to lead the migration of a large-scale enterprise Figma environment from one account to another. The role involves managing shared libraries, component hierarchies, design tokens, and Token Studio integrations while ensuring a seamless transition with no broken dependencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit and map Figma libraries, components, variables, and token dependencies.
Migrate and restructure design system foundations into a new enterprise environment.
Execute and troubleshoot Figma Swap Library operations across complex file systems.
Configure and validate Token Studio, Figma variables, and multi-brand token architecture.
Resolve broken component, library, and token references post-migration.
Conduct migration testing, QA, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Coordinate migration activities with design teams and Figma Enterprise administrators.

Required Skills:

Expert-level Figma experience, including Components, Variants, Shared Libraries, Variables, and Publishing Workflows.
Strong Design Systems and Design Token Architecture expertise.
Hands-on experience with Figma Swap Library and large-scale library management.
Ability to analyze complex Figma ecosystems and dependency structures.
Experience troubleshooting component and token connectivity issues.
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Token Studio implementation and administration.
Figma Enterprise administration experience.
Prior Design System Migration, Brand Split, or Figma Org Transition projects.
Experience with multi-brand design systems and design operations.

This is a hands-on technical Figma role requiring deep design system expertise rather than general UI/UX design experience.
