They are seeking a Manager for Event Marketing & Experience to lead the strategy and execution for third-party partner and industry conferences, ensuring impactful brand activations and memorable experiences for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Understand our clients and what works to engage themeffectively
- Strategize with our sales and marketing teams toleadthe strategy and execution for 3rdparty partner and industry conferences,developingengagement ideasthat supportourbusinessgoals
- Execute on the calendar of eventsincluding managing tradeshowlogistics, exhibitor resource centers, and 3rdparty vendors -bringing creativity and polish to create memorable experiences that bring Slalom to life for our clients
- Think through and execute event follow on activities
- Work with sales to ensure relevant engagement throughout the process – from attendee identification, to invitations, to follow up
- Determineand manage our quarterly and annual event and experience calendar
- Work in tools such as Pardot, Salesforce,Teams, SharePoint
- Manage event budget – per event and overall
- Track impact and results
Requirements:
- 5+ years of event experience in a fast-paced marketing environment, with a proven track record of managing large-scale tradeshows and industry conferences, while working closely with sales teams and clients
- Advanced skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint are required. Pardot a plus
- Proficiency in navigating Exhibitor Manuals/Resources Centers and managing complex vendor contracts (A/V, drayage, booth fabrication, etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills – including excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills
- Scrupulous attention to detail, able to develop and maintain highly organized work environment
- Proven ability to set priorities and work independently with little supervision – you are a driver
- Demonstrated capabilities in making solid business decisions, problem-solving, and multi-tasking
- Must be resourceful and able to deal with ambiguity
- Must be available to work some nights and, very rarely, time on the weekend
