Project Management Officer

Programmers.io is currently looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) professional with a strong background in the healthcare domain to oversee project governance and drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will support cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with organizational goals while managing project standards and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain PMO frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Manage and monitor project portfolios, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Oversee project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards
• Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and performance reports to leadership
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within project management functions
• Support resource planning and allocation across projects
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, IT, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in project management role
• Strong experience in healthcare domain (mandatory)
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
• Good understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in risk management and reporting frameworks
