The candidate will be responsible for all mechanical designs including packaging, machined, and fabricated components for vacuum and inlet assemblies, electronic enclosures, and mounting systems.
This position includes involvement in prototyping and interfacing with scientific and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include planning and tracking your own work schedules.

Detailed Description:
Product Development (CAD Design)
Rapid Prototyping (additive and non-additive)
Test fixture development
Documentation including drawings, build procedures, test procedures, etc.

Requirements:

BSME/MSME preferred from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in mechanical design and product development
Experience with SolidWorks
Experience with SolidWorks EPDM or other PDM tools a plus
Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) practices
Experience directing and working with Industrial Designers a plus
