- Statement of Work (SOW) for Manufacturing Engineer
- The Manufacturing Engineer will lead the optimization of our casting processes by integrating advanced design methodologies with automation and control solutions.
- This role will apply expertise in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and solid rocket motor casting techniques to drive continuous improvement in our operations.
- Design & Process Commissioning: Develop and refine casting designs and MBOMs to optimize process flow and quality.
- Automation Integration: Design, integrate, and troubleshoot robotic systems for material handling and precise casting tasks.
- Control Systems & Monitoring: Implement control systems using sensors, instrumentation, and automation software to continuously monitor casting parameters.
- Quality & Process Optimization: Establish and execute quality control strategies to ensure defect-free casting operations.
- Enhance the efficiency and reliability of casting processes.
- Integrate advanced automation to streamline material handling and precision casting.
- Implement robust control systems for real-time process monitoring.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

- The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in heat transfer and flow optimization during casting, proficiency in solid rocket motor casting techniques, and a strong foundation in quality control and process optimization to ensure defect-free casting outcomes.
