Product Designer

Thatch is a fully distributed early stage company using technology to change the way America does healthcare. As a Product Designer, you’ll craft end-to-end, beautiful, and trustworthy experiences that elevate the healthcare experience and shape the products and design system. You will own the entire design process, collaborating cross-functionally to create incredible user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in and shape every part of the product development process, from idea inception to production
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, growth, product, sales, operations, and leadership to create incredible user experiences
• Develop and maintain the design system and brand assets we’ll use across the company
• Write design documentation and guidelines for internal audiences
• Iterate on and improve our design standards, tooling, and processes

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in product design roles
• Obsession with understanding and serving users and, ultimately, making their lives better
• Demonstrated first principle thinking and mastery of fundamental design principles
• Experience operating in ambiguous environments solving complex user problems
• Ability to balance blue sky creativity and dedication to craft with bias to action
• Ability to read and/or write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Background scaling high growth technology companies in the past
• Experience or interest in finance, healthcare, or benefits
