AI Solutions Architect

LABUR is seeking a senior-level AI Solutions Architect to own the design and deployment of production-grade AI systems across the enterprise. The role involves establishing a unified reference architecture and setting technical standards to prevent fragmentation and vendor lock-in while delivering scalable outputs quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the AI reference architecture spanning data ingestion, semantic layer, and application delivery
• Design and deploy production AI systems that integrate across enterprise platforms including ERP, MES, document repositories, and APIs
• Set and enforce technical standards for AI vendors and third-party solutions
• Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and challenge vendor proposals to ensure optimal outcomes
• Drive reuse and scalability of AI solutions across business functions such as procurement and engineering
• Reduce vendor dependency and lock-in risk through thoughtful architectural decisions
• Remove architectural ambiguity to accelerate execution speed across AI initiatives
