Metric Geo is an award-winning integrated building design firm seeking a Mechanical Engineer in a remote capacity for their Houston office. This hands-on role involves leading mechanical system design for complex buildings and mentoring junior engineers while working across various sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical system design for complex buildings
- Act as Engineer of Record on select projects
- Work across healthcare, higher ed, large scale commercial, and institutional projects
- Collaborate with top-tier engineers nationwide (remotely)
- Mentor junior engineers without being forced into management
Requirements:
- PE license (or able to obtain)
- 4+ years in MEP consulting
- Strong HVAC and building systems design experience
- Comfortable leading projects and working client-facing
- Revit experience
