Procom is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to support business objectives for a financial client. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into user stories, and monitoring project progress while ensuring alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring their needs are prioritized and incorporated into the delivery process
- Monitor project development and report progress to project managers and leadership
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
- Be available to stakeholders to answer questions, gather feedback, and manage expectations
- Monitor sprint and initiative progress, communicating status, risks, and outcomes to leadership
- Support the roadmap, aligning upcoming features and technical improvements with business objectives
Requirements:
- Business Analyst/Product Owner experience
- Agile environment experience
- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into user stories
- Stakeholder and technical team collaboration
- RAID tracking and risk/issue/dependency management
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Advanced Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Office Products
- Rally experience
- Experience in finance, mutual funds, and/or operations
- Brokerage platform experience
- Experience supporting roadmaps
- Journey mapping based on SME interviews and operational process understanding
