Rectangle Health is a leading financial technology company that empowers medical, dental, and specialty practices with seamless and secure technology. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a vital resource for the sales organization, helping to drive customer acquisition and assisting providers with digital payment transformations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute 100+ outbound calls daily to a national database of 1M+ medical and dental practices, clearly articulating our value proposition and securing qualified meetings
- Nurture prospective customers by strategically leveraging marketing collateral and digital content to build interest and momentum
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives / Practice Solution Consultants to align calling strategies and improve conversion rates
- Partner with management to refine messaging and pitch approaches, while providing real-time market and prospect feedback to help the team close more business
- Own your KPIs by managing call volumes, appointment goals, and quality metrics to maximize both performance and commission
- Promote advocacy and generate high-quality referrals for Account Executives / Practice Solution Consultants
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a high-activity sales, prospecting, or customer-facing role, with comfort spending a significant portion of your day on the phone
- Experience working in a metrics-driven environment
- Comfortable with high activity / frequent rejection and staying consistent
- Proven ability to work independently, and 'own your day' in a performance-driven environment, particularly with Account Executives / Practice Solutions Consultants to support pipeline success
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects professionally, ask thoughtful questions, and handle objections
- Comfortable using a CRM and sales tools to log activity, manage leads, and stay organized (Salesforce strongly preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
- Proficient user ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Associate's/Bachelor's degree
- Salesforce utilization as a CRM
- Conversation tracking software/AI software
- Experience in payments, fintech, healthcare, dental/medical practice sales, or other regulated/consultative environments
- Background in high-velocity outbound BDR/SDR roles (insurance, merchant services, door-to-door)
- Experience working in a metrics-driven environment, including call volume, conversion goals, and activity-based KPIs
