Virgo Group is a global digital asset services provider focused on innovation and professionalism in the cryptocurrency market. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth for their crypto exchange platform by establishing partnerships and expanding customer networks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop local partnerships in both crypto and traditional finance markets to enable growth
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company's customer base, increase trading volumes, and enhance overall market presence
- Create and maintain a database of prospect clients
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the crypto and blockchain space to drive innovative business development opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met
- Utilize outbound sales experience to proactively engage with potential clients and generate leads
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote brand visibility
- Monitor and analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify potential areas for growth and improvement
- Provide timely reports and updates to senior management, detailing progress on business development initiatives, partnerships, and market developments
- Support clients onboarding and operation duties assigned by managers
- Other tasks and projects indicated by the management team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in business development or partnership management roles within the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services sectors
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations within the crypto industry
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with partners and clients
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
- In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
- Fluency in English is required. Mandarin and/or Spanish language skills are considered an asset, but not required
