Act in accordance with SCBH’s (Santa Casa BH) Compliance and Integrity pillars, which include: drafting and disseminating Institutional Rules of Conduct; reviewing compliance policies, standards and procedures; conducting compliance training and communications; assessing compliance risks; ensuring transparency in contracting (individuals and legal entities); operating the Confidential Reporting Channel; investigating complaints; promoting diversity and inclusion; and monitoring activities.
Assess the impact of regulations on the institution’s business, understanding the risks involved and evaluating the cost-benefit of necessary process changes.
Contribute to the identification and assessment of risks and internal controls through analyses, correlation of data and information available in systems, internal processes and/or external sources.
Proactively and preventively participate in meetings to discuss risks related to new products and/or process changes and their respective adjustments.
Evaluate alignment between external regulations, internal standards and corporate policies.
Monitor compliance risk, detect deviations and follow up on implementation of risk-mitigating actions, requesting the preparation of reports from the areas under monitoring when needed.
Review the content of compliance reports submitted to senior management, reporting significant regulatory changes, emerging compliance risks, contacts with regulators, and compliance performance measurement; demonstrate the effectiveness of the institutional Compliance Program and propose new initiatives.
Assess and triage complaints received through external and internal channels, handling appropriate actions, investigations and reporting.
Carry out Due Diligence procedures within the institution.
Perform and assess activities and procedures related to conflicts of interest processes within the institution.
Develop compliance-related training and provide training to employees.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Compliance Program initiatives.
Prepare, review and monitor indicators, as well as conduct critical analyses.
Plan actions related to Santa Casa BH’s Diversity and Inclusion Project/Program.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Accounting, Law, Management, Pharmacy or other Health-related fields.
Postgraduate degree in Compliance or a related area (Management, Quality, Risk and Internal Controls, among others) is desirable.
