The Interior Designer is responsible for ensuring that the interior design of a project enhances the concept and story of the project through spatial quality and materiality.
He/she will work collaboratively with the Project Designer as well as other members of the project team in leading the development of interior design and selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
This individual often takes on a leadership role within his/her projects and managing project teams.
Requirements
Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required.
Licensed Interior Designer in the state of Texas is required.
Proficiency in the following software: Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of the following software: Dynamo.
Demonstrated proficiency in projects of above-average size and complexity, historically ensuring creative excellence, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Extensive knowledge of design principles, practices, and how to apply current codes.
Extensive knowledge of construction documentation and an understanding of construction administration.
Extensive experience selecting finishes and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to create a cohesive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment that aligns with project goals and budget.
Minimum of six years of relevant interior design experience.
