Own and drive backend architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
Design and build complex transactional workflows such as payments, billing, user management, analytics, and integrations.
Lead backend development using Java, Go, Python, or similar backend technologies.
Mentor engineers and provide technical direction across the team.
Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, best practices, and tooling.
Support infrastructure and DevOps needs, including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, and monitoring.

5+ years of backend development experience, ideally in SaaS or product-led companies
Strong backend expertise in Java, Go, Python or other backend languages.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular
Solid grasp of system design, API architecture, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of 6-8 engineers
Proven experience leading technical initiatives or teams
Familiarity with SaaS workflows: subscriptions, multi-tenancy, usage tracking, etc.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and tools like Terraform
A mindset focused on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
