Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the payroll cycle are processed, reconciled, audited, and transmitted accurately and timely for all staff.
Proactively review and process all new requests from country heads whilst understanding any specific exceptions or requirements for the latter.
Work with cross-functional country heads to resolve payroll matters and employee enquiries.
Ensure payment instructions are sent to the Invoicing team and follow up on the deliverable.
Actively follow up with the In-Country Partners to confirm that the workers are/have been paid on time.
Keeping up to date with the assigned country legislation.
Handling and maintaining the portfolio of existing and new staff on Sicorax database.
Handling/resolving payroll related queries.
Ensure all process documentation and staff contract of employment is kept up to date.
Support internal and external payroll audit requests.
Demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality.
Assist with other payroll and accounting projects.
Requirements
BSc/BA degree in Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Similar experience in payroll processing and administration.
Attention to detail for accurate payroll management and support.
Well-versed in payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficient in using payroll software and tools to process payroll efficiently, generate reports, and manage records (e.g., Sicorax, SAP, ADP, QuickBooks, Paycom).
Experience maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive data.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
