Role Overview
- Oversee and manage GM Europe's legal affairs under the supervision of the Regional General Counsel
- Provide proactive legal services related to corporate/commercial matters, employment, litigation management, and more
- Direct external legal counsel and collaborate with other legal counsel within GM's legal staff
- Contribute to GM Europe’s success by combining legal and business acumen
- Manage multiple large-scale projects and collaborate with business units
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in top-tier private practice or in-house
- Extensive experience in the manufacturing, consumer products, or technology sector
- Preference for candidates with extensive automotive experience
- A law degree (J.D. or equivalent)
- Admitted to practice law in Europe or North America
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German and French is an asset
