About this role
Role Overview
Design and develop solutions for data collection, organization, storage, and modeling
Ensure access to various data sources and maintain data quality
Ensure that the company's data analysts and data scientists can easily access and use data under optimal conditions
Contribute, under the operational supervision of our architect, to best practices, standards, policies, methods, tools, and procedures related to the Big Data Cluster
Contribute to establishing a data policy compliant with applicable regulations
Monitor technology trends, particularly programming languages used, to support the progress of Delivery projects
Mentor and manage the technical expertise of the team
Ensure code quality of software programs
Resolve technical issues encountered by the team
Perform technical design of applications.
Requirements
Engineering degree or equivalent (Master's level) in computer science or data science
Minimum 6 years of permanent (CDI) experience in:
Development languages and engines: Spark, Kafka, Java, Scala, Python
Data visualization: Microsoft Power BI / Qlik
Data Cloud environments: Azure / GCP / Snowflake / Databricks
Proficiency with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
Ideally, experience migrating to Cloud environments, CI/CD, application development, and Data domains (Data Management, Data Governance, API Management)
Ability to work in a team, challenge client requirements and propose pragmatic solutions, with strong pedagogical skills
A "Data Engineer" certification on a Cloud environment (Azure/GCP) is a plus.
