About this role
Role Overview
Define requirements, architectures, and interfaces for avionics ground and test equipment
Conduct make/buy trades for components of avionics ground and test systems
Design avionics ground test equipment composed of COTS and custom-designed components
Support integration and test of avionics hardware, software, instrumentation, and harnessing as a representative of the test equipment hardware team
Identify anomalous behavior, rapidly determine root cause, and implement corrective action independently or in close collaboration with stakeholders
Validate and verify that avionics ground and test systems are meeting customer expectations and requirements
Triage remotely networked systems.
Requirements
Minimum of a B.S. degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or similar.
5+ years performing some or all of the following activities: electrical design, systems engineering, electronics integration, system validation and verification, networking, scripting, test equipment design
Experience working with data communication protocols
Experience designing signal conditioning and analog-to-digital solutions for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test equipment
Demonstrated ability building trusting and effective working relationships that improve team performance, deliver results, and strengthen our culture
Strong organizational, analytical skills, and digital skills
Demonstrated track record of resourcefulness and success from previous assignments and working with interdisciplinary and multi-functional teams.
Passion for hands on problem solving and Avionics integration.
