Backend Specialist, Kotlin

Role Overview

• Lead technically complex initiatives (from design to production)
• Serve as a technical reference ensuring quality, performance, and security
• Develop robust solutions (BFFs, strategic APIs, integration hubs)
• Promote best practices (DDD, TDD/BDD, Clean Code, automated testing)
• Work on troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• Influence technical decisions aligned with business needs
• Support the technical growth of the team

Requirements

• Strong experience with Kotlin or Java (large-scale Spring Boot applications)
• Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, and integrations
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS, etc.)
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Security knowledge (OAuth, encryption, OWASP)
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Experience working with DevOps practices and engineering culture
