Role Overview
- Own the bank partner relationship portfolio
- Manage existing partners and evaluate new ones
- Support negotiations on commercial terms, operational SLAs, and integration roadmaps
- Own the operational health of ACH, OCT, AFT, and cash rails
- Drive cost-per-transaction down and reliability up
- Build the playbook, SLA, and automation for disputes, suspensions, and support
- Set the budget, manage banking partner spend, and drive cost-efficiency roadmap
- Partner with Product and Engineering on payments infrastructure investments
Requirements
- 7+ years in banking operations, treasury operations, or payments operations at a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services company
- At least 2 years of people management experience
- Owned a P&L or meaningful budget
- Managed bank or BaaS partners
- Experience negotiating with banking partners (e.g., Stripe, Marqeta, Adyen, Galileo)
- Ability to influence across Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering
- Experience turning manual operations into a scaled function
