Payroll and Tax Specialist

Role Overview

• Support payroll operations across the U.S.
• Partner closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations
• Manage payroll corrections, including W-2C processing
• Assist with calculating payroll on a regular basis using ADP Workforce Now
• Process timely payment of wages accurately
• Maintain and update payroll information
• Generate and distribute payroll reports
• Collaborate with HR and finance departments

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience performing payroll functions
• Strong knowledge of US Payroll Tax Regulations
• Ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Audit employee tax setups, including multi-state and local taxation
• Maintain and update state tax configurations
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP)
• Familiarity with labor and tax laws
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
