Develop major aircraft modifications (STC/CST) in conjunction with suppliers;
Monitor and ensure the correct execution or improvements in the application of modifications and repairs on-site;
Validate and make decisions based on system and component monitoring indicators, aiming to increase fleet reliability and reduce maintenance-related downtime;
Develop new projects focused on reliability, modernization and cost reduction (cross-departmental);
Plan and participate in airworthiness discussion/development forums with internal (tactical level) and external stakeholders, acting as an active engineering voice with opinions and technical assessments, as well as assigning tasks to other team members;
Provide technical support to internal customers (GOL) by consulting the maintenance manual, component manuals and applicable regulations (with a focus on aircraft release for return to service);
Approve technical data, regardless of complexity, issued by regulatory agencies and manufacturers of products and articles operated by GOL;
Validate technical documents, regardless of complexity, to ensure compliance with technical data issued by regulatory agencies and manufacturers of products and articles operated by GOL;
Source alternative materials and equivalent tools (as allowed in technical manuals);
Develop alternative materials and equivalent tools (not specified in technical manuals);
Drive improvements to our processes and/or products across departments, based on reliability data, safety, in-service difficulty reports, Safety department actions, aviation authorities, and the Continued Analysis and Supervision System (SASC);
Prepare management reports of a technical, safety, financial and customer-experience nature;
Develop manuals and programs;
Request warranty coverage for application of SBs, SLs, consumables and aircraft under warranty;
Analyze repair documentation issued by major-component repair shops upon request;
Verify, prepare and approve data affecting aircraft weight and balance;
Enter tasks, intervals and applicability to enable control and management of all tasks within the Aircraft Maintenance Program;
Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the maintenance program;
Identify and report hazards in operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields;
Active CREA registration;
Advanced MS Office skills;
Advanced English;
Project management skills;
Experience in Maintenance Engineering.
Differential:
Possess a Technical Course or MMA;
Possess CCT or CHT;
Experience or knowledge of AMOS;
Experience or knowledge in introduction/acceptance of a new fleet type;
Experience with Airbus A330.
