Work hands-on in the development and evolution of backend services in Java for billing, payments and collections systems.
Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations exposed through an API Gateway (e.g., Sensedia).
Modernize and evolve legacy architectures (SOA), participating in migration, refactoring and decomposition of services.
Develop new services with Spring Boot, applying event-driven architecture, messaging and asynchronous integrations.
Implement performance and resilience mechanisms such as caching, idempotency and fault-tolerance strategies.
Ensure quality, reliability and stability of solutions through testing, engineering best practices, CI/CD and incident support.

Strong experience in Java development with Spring Boot.
Experience with REST APIs, API Gateway/API Management (e.g., Sensedia, Apigee) and synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
Experience with legacy architectures (SOA) and their evolution to modern event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of messaging, asynchronous processing, relational databases and NoSQL.
Experience with automated testing, DevOps practices, observability and reliability.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP or OpenShift).
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
Experience in financial systems (billing, invoicing, payments, collections) is a plus.
Java certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
