Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopaedics

Role Overview

• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Create a healing atmosphere that enhances the Cleveland Clinic treatment experience.
• Assist in providing highly specialized treatment for bones, joints, muscles, and tendons.
• Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions.
• Establish, revise and evaluate plans of care while involving the patient and/or their family.
• Perform therapy interventions.
• Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and other caregivers.

Requirements

• Outpatient Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• 2 years of experience in a clinical area preferred.
