Data & AI Consultant

Role Overview

• End-to-end guidance & advisory: As a trusted technical advisor you accompany our clients from the initial strategic ideation (proof of concept, PoC) through to the successful production rollout of their AI use cases.
• Co-design of forward-looking AI solutions: You are responsible for designing and architecting modern machine learning solutions to sustainably solve our clients' complex business challenges.
• Building intelligent GenAI architectures: You advise on innovative generative AI solutions and RAG architectures (retrieval-augmented generation) and support the implementation of modern agentic tools on-site with clients.
• Orchestration of modern cloud AI services: You confidently use and interconnect AI services from leading hyperscalers such as Google Vertex AI and Azure AI Foundry to fully leverage technological potential.
• Bridging to production (MLOps): You don’t just develop ML models — through professional consulting and engineering you ensure their smooth integration into real production systems.
• Driver of technological trends: You keep an eye on the AI market, evaluate new technologies with curiosity, and actively shape our Data & AI area with your input.

Requirements

• Proven consulting experience: You have several years of experience in IT project work with a strong focus on machine learning, AI and modern data processing.
• Strong communication skills: You enjoy explaining complex AI concepts in an understandable way and confidently guide our clients in strategic decisions.
• Cloud environment proficiency: You are comfortable with at least one of the major hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure) and know how to exploit their capabilities.
• Proficiency in Python & frameworks: You are fluent in Python and bring practical experience with common ML/AI frameworks to client projects.
• Practical experience with AI ecosystems: You have actively worked with platforms such as Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock or Azure AI Foundry and implemented solutions on these platforms.
• Enthusiasm for GenAI: You have hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering and have already built initial agentic workflows (e.g., using LangChain or LlamaIndex).
• Holistic architecture understanding: You understand the basics of API development and cloud architectures to integrate AI models seamlessly and reliably into existing client systems.
• Data engineering fundamentals: Ideally you have a solid foundation in SQL or modern data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) to independently drive the data preparation for your models.
• Relevant certifications: You have completed or are willing to obtain certifications in machine learning/AI for Google and Azure with our support. Ideally you have knowledge of AWS Bedrock.
• Team player with drive: You convince with result orientation and enjoy working with our diverse team of experts.
